FAQ

FIG stands for Flags In a Gym. It was created with the goal of making guard more accessible to its performers - allowing for school, work, and family obligations to be taken into consideration. While the competitive success of our membership is important, our utmost concern is the well-being of our FIG family. 

FIG primarily rehearses on Sundays in the Marietta area at Marietta Sixth Grade Academy (MSGA). Some rehearsals and camps will be held at Norcross High School in Norcross, GA.

All times and locations are subject to change, with official information released no later than a week before that rehearsal.

Membership fees will be determined by size of membership and competitive schedule (current estimate to be $1800-2000).  

FIG will be attending WGI World Championships in Dayton, OH for the first time this season!

There are fundraising opportunities throughout the season.

FIG will be competing again in the Independent A classification, and members cannot be over the age of 22 as of April 1, 2026. 

We will consider minors on a case-by-case basis. If you are under the age of 18, please come to auditions and clinics to speak with our director.
